Tidal Wave Spore Swabs!
Comes with 2 Tidal Wave spore swabs, so that you’ve got a spare in case you lose one down the sofa!
Tidal Wave Spores – yet another one with a funky lineage. Get B+ and PE, mash it together a bit (yes Chris I know it’s more complicated than that really), give it a shake in a cocktail shaker and voilà, you’ve got yourself a party going on. There’s a cool type of cubensis mutation called Enigma, which is actually this, except when it’s gone nuts. It’s not always gonna go nuts, as mushrooms have such a high propensity to mutate in every way possible, but who knows. It could also just look like B+ or PE, so it’s a proper go on the fruit machine really. It won the very first Psilocybin Cup though, so that’s a heck of a thing.
Tidal Wave! Cool name. It took me a while to find out who had genetically tinkered these little dudes into existence, and it turns out it’s a chap called Doma who seems to head up some kind of collective called Magic Myco. These guys (or girls or non-binary people or whatever, I don’t know) seem to spend their time testing and researching mushrooms and spores, and doing their best to work out cool new ways of doing things. I’ve said it before, but one of the things I love about mycology is that we’re still very much in what I feel are the early days – there are so many cool new techniques to learn, and new creations to bring forth unto the world like some kind of bizarre mycological god. As nerdy as I am, it genuinely makes me happy to see people getting so far into a mad hobby. Here’s to you, Doma and Magic Myco – all the best!
Ideally, keep these Tidal Wave spore swabs somewhere cool and dark, where they will happily last a couple of years at least. Magic mushroom spores are super hardy, and a drier environment like a spore swab or a print is the best way of ensuring they stay viable for literally years. They’re pretty simple to store. We don’t recommend putting the swab back into storage once you’ve tried to use it as the chance of contamination shoots right up, but if that’s something you want to try then I’m not your boss, go for it. Swabs are a bit harder to use with the microscope than spore syringes, so please make sure you’ve done a fair bit of reading on how to get these onto your microscope slide cleanly!
These Tidal Wave Spore Swabs have been produced in a nice legal country far away from here by a team of super cool lab monkeys, using flowhoods and all the usual jazz in order to make sure that what you see under the microscope is exactly what’s supposed to be there and nothing else – just premium Tidal Wave spores!
